Very spooky. I like the composition with the edge of the roof emerging from the lower left corner. I also like the glow of the tree in the background. I hope your kids get a lot of candy when they trick or treat (so you can enjoy it, too!).

This old house definitely has an edge. The boarded up windows and dormers just scream "Haunted!" Great moody processing; and that one single bird flying high above is like an additional sign of something amiss in this scene. Just like out of the scary movies genre. Bravo Betsy.

oh what a shame no one has taken up the challenge of restoring this one, looks like it would be lovely done up. Now , and especially with your imagery, it looks haunted and lonely.
