Stool at Yuengling Brewery. I could swear we had something like this in my home as a very young child. Or someone we knew did... either way, I imagine a young mother perched atop the seat, gossiping on an olive drab rotary phone while smoking a cigarette and batting her children away from around her legs... don't you?

I remember these high chairs, it looks like the back padding is gone.

I think there are a couple of stools like this floating around my grandparents house.

You are exactly correct, but circa 1975 -- a beige print plastic seat while gabbing to Grandma Ruthie on an ivory colored rotary wall phone with a 35 foot cord, and my toddler (you) trying to wedge yourself onto the lower step. And neither of us smoked (not you nor I nor Grandma Ruthie). Love you, Y.M.
