The pelicans enjoying their very own light show... each morning in Cabo.
I've noticed that my vertical shots on AM3 are so large, you sometimes miss the impact of the shot. I'm experimenting with framing the image in PS first to see what size works -- what do you think?

This size allows viewing of the entire shot! Beautiful work.

Such a gorgeous photo, I don't care what frames it, nothing could take away from this peaceful feeling...

The too-long vertical, yes I've noticed the same in mine. Maybe you'll pioneer a new technique that will give us all more satisfying results if/when we post verticals also. In spite of all that, you've put up a beautiful shot here today Betsy.

I usually size my vertical images to 536X800 and that seems to fit pretty well.
This is a beautiful scene. So tranquil.

@Laurie: Thanks for the tip, Laurie!!
Wonderful sunset shot, with an interesting foreground. I like the birds on the rock.

This is a drop dead gorgeous sunset, Bets. Just stunning. There is no limitation on the vertical dimension of images on AM3 (I remember reading that when I recently subscribed), so that could be why your verticals look large. There's only a limitation on the horizontal dimension, which is 800 pixels. If it's bigger than 800 pixels horizontally, then AM3 automatically resizes it for you. I usually size my shots at 800 pixels on the long axis anyway, regardless of orientation, and set the resolution at 72 ppi, to prevent people from downloading and printing them.

Lovely sunset photo: colors, clouds, pelicans, rocks, composition. I like the frame, but would like the photo to be a bit larger. For some reason it is the same size on "large" and "small."

It's a beautiful shot. I don't know how you could change the size without losing the magnificence of that sky. I love those pelicans, don't you? Love, Y.M.
