nice closeup capture was the 105mm a macro already? you may want to try the canon 500D close-up filter or Raynox

@kairospix: Thank you, Kairospix! I had just recently found the 28-105 (from my old 35mm) and the filter was in the bag with it - if I recall, it was pretty cheap, like $30 bucks. As you can see, it's okay for a little magnification, but it doesn't do much and I don't think it's especially sharp. Thanks much for the tip on the 500d - my goal for 2008 is to learn better macro photog!!

All of a sudden, I have a taste for cole slaw. Strange. I like this shot, Bets. I like the sharp edges on the edges of the leaves. Very nice.
